Updates for Summer 2021 (as of 1/22/2021):
Like all of you, we too have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, we have adapted our 2021 programs to a virtual format. This will allow us to provide a quality experience while ensuring our community’s safety.
- Tufts in Talloires 2021 will move to an all-virtual format.
- Tufts in Annecy 2021, because of its site-specific design, is canceled for Summer 2021.
- Tufts Summit 2021 will move to an all-virtual format.
Our courses will continue to serve our mission by integrating global voices and perspectives in order to provide an internationally-focused experience, and our incredible faculty will provide you with an academic course of the highest quality. The Tufts University European Center staff is committed to creating a supportive community and ensuring a rich and engaging experience for all students.

Previous Updates regarding COVID-19 and Summer 2020: In a typical year, we would be enjoying the hustle and bustle of a summer in Talloires, welcoming students, faculty and visitors to our beautiful Priory. Sadly, this has not been a typical year – for anyone. The European Center was not immune to the effects of the Coronavirus.
In the face of imposed restrictions, as well as concerns for the health and safety of our communities on both sides of the ocean, we had to cancel our 2020 Talloires season. Our commitment to global education and intercultural engagement has not wavered, however, and we are hopeful that 2021 will provide us with the opportunity to welcome everyone back to Talloires.
