Gabriella has served as Director of the European Center since 2002. Her long association with the European Center in Talloires dates back to the late 1980s and includes working with the U.S. Olympic Committee for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympic Games. As Director, Gabriella enjoys the opportunity to welcome such a wide array of students and professionals to Talloires each year, and finds it particularly rewarding to facilitate their successes at the European Center. She is a Tufts alumna and is honored to be entrusted with the responsibility for the beautiful Prieuré building as well as the stewardship of the MacJannets' noble values of global citizenship and international exchange.
Nelson joined the Tufts University European Center as the Assistant Director, in May 2023. His passion for fostering cross-cultural exchange and experiential learning opportunities abroad led him to pursue service in international higher education. Nelson holds a B.A. in English Literature and Government from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with Graduate Certificates in International Law, Education Law & Policy, and Nonprofit Leadership & Management from The University of Georgia. Nelson is excited to support programming in Talloires, France and to uphold the eternal values of the MacJannet Legacy.
Kim began working at Tufts in 2002 after having worked for five years as an elementary school teacher, specializing in fourth grade mathematics, reading and MCAS preparation. After 12 years of part time service to the Tufts Community Health Program, she is now the full time Staff Assistant for the European Center. In her free time, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and attending sporting events.
